COMMISSIONING AND EMPLOYMENT IN THE MEDIA - FRIDAY 21ST OCT 2011

For this session we had to have watched various BTS docs of any sort of media organisation, and analyse them. I watched 'The Lion King' (west end show), the film 'London to Brighton' and the film 'Changeling'.

As 'Changeling' is one of my favourite films, I really enjoyed watching this and listening to what she had to say. As one of my favourite aspects of the film is the 1920s-1930s fashion, this film seemed like it was very much aimed at people like myself. However, it does show a lot of the film, and almost takes on a slight trailer/spoiler feels to it, which is to make people who haven't seen the film, then want to watch it.

I was still feeling positive about the rest of the course, as we went through what other BTS people had watched and gave ourselves more inspiration and ideas of what we could do. After this we discussed potential ideas of our BTS. We came up with various ideas, what stuck in my mind and inspired me was a BTS doc of in a theatre (as I have a passion for theatre!)
